Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens after I get in touch?

Once you submit the contact form, I’ll reach out to discuss your project, idea, or inquiry in more detail. Together, we’ll shape the vision, location, timing, and overall plan for your session.

When everything is agreed, you’ll receive:

  • A Client Agreement Form — specific to your shoot, outlining the date, location, duration, deliverables, cost, and what you can expect on the day. This will be. shared through Dropbox and stored securely.

  • A copy of my Terms & Conditions — these must be reviewed and signed. This will be. shared through Dropbox and stored securely.

  • A deposit link — a 30% deposit confirms your booking and secures your date.

If your session requires travel outside London, I will book travel at this stage and share those details with you.

After that, all you need to do is look forward to your session — I’ll keep you updated and prepared.

Where am I based?

I am based in North-West London, and work across city. I also enjoy travelling outside of the city for client work so please do get in touch. Any travel within 50 miles of Camden, London will be included in my prices; Anymore than that and it will cost an additional £0.45/mile.

How do I book a session?

Have a quick browse through my prices & packages and then reach straight out to me, which you can either through clicking here to my contact page, where you can fill our a very short contact form and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively you can email me directly @esb.fotography@gmail.com.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends or busy seasons. For portraits and smaller sessions, 2–4 weeks’ notice is usually enough.
For events, gigs, or commercial work, booking 1–3 months in advance ensures availability.

That said, if you need something last-minute, feel free to reach out — if I can accommodate you, I will.

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal — most of my clients say the same before their session.
I work in a calm, conversational way, allowing you space to settle in while guiding you when needed. There’s no pressure to perform or “be photogenic.”

We take our time, find good light, and ease into the process. By the end, people often tell me they felt surprisingly comfortable — and even enjoyed it.

When will I receive my photos?

You will receive your photographs within 14 days of the end of the shoot, as long as the final payment has been made.

You can download the whole gallery or individual images.

Will my photos be posted online?

Only with your prior confirmation.

Before sharing anything on my portfolio or social platforms, I will check with you first. You are always welcome to decline — your comfort comes first.

What if the weather is bad?

For outdoor shoots, I’ll monitor the weather leading up to the session.
If conditions aren’t suitable, I’ll offer a reschedule or recommend an indoor alternative.

Can I bring a friend to my session?

Absolutely — as long as their presence helps you feel comfortable.
However, for creative or portrait sessions, I may ask friends to step aside during key moments to maintain flow and atmosphere.

I look forward to hearing from you :)
